Program Policies

USA Hockey

All programs follow the rules, policies, and procedures of USA Hockey. Players and coaches agree to adhere to USA Hockey’s Code of Conduct. All participants must have a valid registration with USA Hockey.

No fighting or violent acts
We have a zero tolerance policy for fighting or other violent acts. We take on-ice behavior and player’s safety very seriously.

Play within safe control
Participants are to safely maintain control of their skating for the safety of all participants.

Body Contact

Safety is the highest priority for our programs. All events are non-checking, also known as ‘competitive contact.’ Any form of body checking or any other dangerous play will be strictly penalized and may be subject to additional disciplines through USA Hockey and/or Frederick Adult Hockey, LLC.

Unsafe Play

Frederick Adult Hockey, LLC may review, under its own initiative or at the request of any player, coach, captain, or official, any alleged dangerous or otherwise inappropriate action and has the power to levy any discipline, including in excess of that issued by USA Hockey, which it deems suitable. Such discipline may include suspensions and/or ejection from the Frederick Adult Hockey league without notice or refund.

Refund Policy

Refunds will generally not be issued, please be certain of your commitment before registration. If you are unable to complete a season for reasons outside of your control such as long term injury, military/work deployment, or major illness, a pro-rated refund may be issued in certain cases.
